FAQ

How should I get to the wedding?

We suggest taking an Uber or a Lyft, but if you prefer to drive to the venue, there are two public parking lots immediately across the street (the Garden Street Lot and the beachfront lot at 236E E Cabrillo Blvd). The lots are paid hourly parking until 10pm, then they become free until 2am. No parking is permitted after 2am.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin at 4pm, so we encourage you to arrive 15 minutes early for mingling, seat-finding, etc.

Will the wedding be indoors or outside?

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (sunglasses are encouraged). The dinner and reception will take place inside an open-air space, so consider bringing a layer.

What should I wear?

The dress code is cocktail — suits (tie-optional) and dresses (midi, tea-length, floor-length gowns). The whole day will be spent near the beach — it will be warm during the daytime but cool at night. Please no denim.

Also, with regards to high heels, note that the ceremony and reception will take place on grass!

Can I take pictures?

Please don’t take pictures or videos during the ceremony — a professional photographer is handling that. Please take lots of pictures during the dinner and reception!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Your invitation will tell you whether you may bring along a guest, and you’ll be asked to provide their name with yours when you RSVP online.

Will either of you change your last names after the wedding?

No, our names are staying the same as they are listed on the invitations and save-the-dates.

Can I bring a gift?

We are plenty grateful for your love and well wishes. Gifts are not necessary. For those who do enjoy gifting, please see our registry page. We ask that you please refrain from bringing any gifts in-person to the wedding.
